At the beginning of 2010 the band hit the studio to start work on their sixth studio album Life Turns Electric. It was released October 5th 2010 and was nominated for Rock Album Of The Year at the 2011 Juno Awards.

Finger 11 in 2007 then release their fifth studio album titled The Vs. You Vs. Me also produced by Johnny K. The first single off this album was Paralyzer  which later on became their most successful single, and their first top ten hit on the U.S. Hot 100 in November. It also became number 1 in Canada, and both U.S. Rock charts. Them VS. You VS. Me was certified as gold in the U.S. and won the Juno Award for Rock album of the year.

Their third album as Finger 11 was a self titled album and was released in 2003 which includes the ever popular One Thing reaching number 16 in the U.S. and gained exposure on TV series such as Scrubs, Smallville and Third Watch. This time being produce by Johnny K. The band then toured all around the U.K. U.S.A. and Australia from 2003 until 2005.  It was then later used on W.W.E. Finger 11  recorded yet another album produced by Lanni of Our Lady Peace The Greyest Of Blue Skies in 2000 and in 2002 they produced the song slow chemical for WWE Superstar Kane as his entrance song and then would be release on the 2004 Punisher soundtrack.
The name Finger 11 actually comes from an earlier version of the song Thin Spirits “when everything is pushing you in one direction and your instinct drives you in another that’s Finger 11 "I couldn’t get it out of my head. The album Tip
was a huge success and was released with mercury record in Canada in 1997.

The Begining

Finger 11 actually formed during their high-school years as the Rainbow Butt Monkeys. They recorded their first album by themselves with money from winning a talent show. Made up of  Rob Gommerman on drums Sean Anderson  on bass James Black on Lead guitar and Scott Anderson with Lead vocals. They Dropped Rob after the release of their debut album as Finger 11, and picked up Rich Bedoe to become the Finger 11 we all know and love.

The Making Of...

It wasn't that hard to write up or to pick an artist to do a biography on. Right away i wanted to do my assignment on Finger 11 arguably one of the most successful Canadian bands.I had a rocky start not knowing where to start and finding it hard to get the motivation to get it done. In the end I wound up with great research and great copy to produce the Biography but since it was only worth three marks and I had a lot of other projects that were worth more than three marks it was not recorded. I found it easy to research because Finger 11 is one of my favourite bands from Canada or other wise.
